Stanton & Stanton has announced its commitment to the National Pro Bono Target for 2024. By becoming a Target Signatory, the firm commits that each lawyer will provide 35 hours of pro bono legal work to the community annually.
The National Pro Bono Target is an initiative by the Australian Pro Bono Centre, aimed at increasing access to justice through the provision of pro bono legal services.
This initiative emphasises the firm's dedication to enhancing access to justice for those who might otherwise be unable to obtain legal assistance.
"We believe it is our professional responsibility as lawyers to support our community through pro bono work", said Stanton & Stanton Principal Kenneth Stanton. "This commitment strengthens our ties to the community and reflects our firm's values of respect, achievement and adding value."
Stanton & Stanton will continue to provide pro bono legal advice to Aboriginal Employment Strategy Limited, the firm's long-standing client.
