Stanton & Stanton has announced itscommitment to the National Pro Bono Target for 2024. By becoming a TargetSignatory, the firm commits that each lawyer will provide 35 hours of pro bonolegal work to the community annually.
The National Pro Bono Target is aninitiative by the Australian Pro Bono Centre, aimed at increasing access tojustice through the provision of pro bono legal services.
This initiative emphasises the firm'sdedication to enhancing access to justice for those who might otherwise beunable to obtain legal assistance.
"We believe it is our professionalresponsibility as lawyers to support our community through pro bono work,"said Stanton & Stanton Principal Kenneth Stanton. "This commitmentstrengthens our ties to the community and reflects our firm's values ofrespect, achievement and adding value."
Stanton & Stanton will continue toprovide pro bono legal advice to Aboriginal Employment Strategy Limited, thefirm's long-standing client.
